April 9th

Part of the responsibility of owning a tank is that you have to perform ammonia and nitrate tests. This is  so your tank is healthy for this fish and that there are not that many toxins. First you have to perform an ammonia test which you first get a test tube with 5ML of your tank water the first drop 8 drops of bottle 1 ammonia and then 8 drops of bottle 2. Then you mix it up and wait 5 min and compare to the colors on the card to see if your tank is okay. Then you repeat the same exact steps with the nitrate except with the nitrate bottles and instead of 8 drops its 10 drops.
